Karlsberg Grüner Veltliner 1ÖTW 2024 organic
Grüner Veltliner has become one of the most internationally sought-after Austrian wines in recent history. It is very terroir-driven, and its spicy aromatics and animating structure are unsurpassed when looking for a food-friendly, high-end wine that holds this extra.
Entirely healthy, selected grapes with a high acid structure; traditional vinification with controlled oxygenation, partly in new 500-litre tonneaux; careful élevage on the fine lees in the century-old barrel cellars. Limited release.
Brilliant greenish-yellow hues. Delicate pepper, quince, ripe apple, citrus, and robinia blossoms in the bouquet. Fresh and broad structure with plenty of spice and juicy creaminess, with a hint of salty minerality in the firm, stimulating, and easy-to-drink finish.
Recommended with smoked dishes, seafood, classic Austrian dishes such as “Tafelspitz,” and spicy Asian cuisine.
