We are delighted to have been accepted into the prestigious Association of Austrian Traditional Wine Estates, a great honor and recognition for the quality and origin-based style of our wines, the work of the past years and decades.
The Princely Family of Liechtenstein has been deeply connected to viticulture since 1436. Today, a passionate new generation—led by oenologists Natalie Ströhle and Josef Stumvoll—continues this long-standing tradition at the family’s wineries in Liechtenstein and Austria. From the sensitively cultivated, biologically and regeneratively farmed vineyards in the Weinviertel, Leithaberg, and the Alpine Rhine Valley, precise wines are crafted. These wines are defined by their fresh, distinctive style—produced through a modern yet traditional approach, gentle processing, and a focus on natural expression and careful maturation. At the wineries, the vinotheque at the Garden Palace in Vienna, and the Michelin-starred Torkel restaurant in Vaduz, guests experience a vibrant blend of tradition, creativity, and enthusiasm in an atmospheric setting.
Liechtenstein sources reveal that viticulture had already existed at the end of the 14th century in the area of today’s Wilfersdorf Estate.
